Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

1. Introduction

The Interdisciplinary Language and Cultural Studies Journal aims to provide a platform for researchers and scholars to publish their interdisciplinary research in the fields of language and cultural studies. We accept original research articles, reviews, and other relevant contributions that explore the intersections of language and culture.

2. Manuscript Preparation

2.1. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should include the following sections:

  • Title
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Methodology
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgments (if applicable)
  • References

2.2. Formatting Guidelines

  • Manuscripts should be in Microsoft Word format.
  • Use a clear and consistent font (e.g., Times New Roman) and 12-point font size.
  • Double-space the entire manuscript.
  • Use headings and subheadings to organize the content.
  • Include figures and tables with captions and proper citations.

2.3. Language

  • Manuscripts should be in English, Turkish, German and French.
  • Ensure proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Use American or British English consistently throughout the document.

2.4. Citations and References

  • Follow a widely recognized citation style (e.g., APA) for in-text citations and the reference list.
  • Cite all sources properly to avoid plagiarism.

2.5. Supplementary Materials

Authors can include supplementary materials such as data sets, audio files, or videos to enhance the reader's understanding of the research. Please provide clear instructions for accessing these materials.

3. Submission Process

3.1. Online Submission

Manuscripts should be submitted through our online submission system on our journal's website. Follow the submission guidelines, and ensure all required documents are uploaded.

 

4. Peer Review Process

All submissions will undergo a peer review process. Experts in the field will assess the quality and validity of your research. Authors may be required to make revisions based on reviewer feedback.

5. Publication Ethics

Authors must adhere to the highest ethical standards in research. Plagiarism, fabrication, and other unethical practices are not tolerated. Please review our journal's publication ethics policy.
