About the Journal

The Journal of Interdisciplinary Language and Cultural Studies began its publication as an international e-journal in 2023 with the ISSN number 2980-275X. Our journal is open-access and employs a double-blind peer review process, with issues published biannually in June and December. It aims to bring together research conducted in Turkish, English, and French across fields such as linguistics, literature, translation studies, cultural studies, and related disciplines.

The primary objective of our journal is to bridge different disciplines by presenting innovative perspectives in language and cultural studies. It encompasses topics such as the impact of language on culture, and the relationships between language and social, political, economic, and ideological factors. Additionally, it includes analyses of various cultural products, including forms of cultural expression, literary works, film, and visual arts.

Adopting an interdisciplinary approach, our journal seeks to appeal to a broad readership while fostering knowledge sharing by bringing together researchers from various disciplines. It publishes a range of article types, including original research, reviews, critiques, and critical evaluations.

The editorial board consists of experts in their respective fields, and all submitted articles undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. All submissions are prepared and published in accordance with ethical publishing standards. The Journal of Interdisciplinary Language and Cultural Studies aims to provide a scholarly platform for discussions in the fields of language and culture.
